|September 3, 2004 -- After I got unloaded last night at
Edwardsville, Illinois (metro St. Louis, Missouri) I made it to Effingham,
Illinois where I got the trailer washed out and slept. Today I went on to
Manteno, Illinois and picked up the new load going to Hazleton,
Pennsylvania. I've made it about half-way across the state of Ohio. I figure
I've got about 375 more miles to make it to Hazelton, Pennsylvania. I'm
parked in a plaza along the Ohio Turnpike.
They pre-planned me on a load picking up at Baldwinsville, New York delivering Wednesday morning in Birmingham, Alabama. A lot of times the pre-planned loads don't ever materialize, so I have learned to always take a wait-and-see attitude about them. I'm due home for time off on September 10th.
